Francesco Perrucci – M.Sc. 2013 in biomedical engineering and now Ph.D researcher at Politecnico di Torino.
Ph.D research activity in the Additive Manufacturing field is held in Microla S.r.l and concerns the construction and development of a stereolithography printer, with main focus to the study of laser's processes and CAD / CAM / Rapid Prototyping softwares. The initial approach was on FDM printers to better understand the new design methodologies related to the world of 3D printing (modeling / supports generation / G-code management ). Then the focus shifted to the development of a SLA Printer, acquiring notions of optical and electronic control for galvanometric heads.
The search path is going to be related the study of two-photon polymerization (2PP Printer) in order to print biocompatible structures at the nanoscale.
