Abstract
I will review briefly the Aspen Aerogels company. Our history , locations & applications both Industrial & Building & Construction.
I will discuss the nature of our aerogels in particular the nanoporosity of our amorphous silica materials .
I will discuss the wide variety of the health & safety testing already done amorphous silica.
I will discuss the particular testing that Aspen is carrying out on our materials in conjunction with Professor Harald Krug & Nanocase CH.
I will discuss the work carried out in the FP7 Nanoporosity work carried out in the “Modern” programme .
