Emanuela Tamburri received the Laurea degree in Chemistry from the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) in 2003, and the PhD in Chemical Sciences from Tor Vergata University of Rome (Italy) in 2008. She is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Chemical Sciences and Technologies and works as Adjunct Professor for the degree programs in Material Science. Her research interests include the synthesis and characterization of hybrid organic–inorganic composites and carbon based nanostructures for electronics and optoelectronics, electrochemical and gas sensors, and energy-related applications. She is a co-author of more than 100 papers and 1 patent.
