Giuseppe Latessa was born in Avellino (AV) in 1981. In 2006 he received the degree cum laude in Electronic Engineering at the University of "Tor Vergata" in Rome with a thesis on realization and characterization of strain sensors with carbon nanotubes based on nano-composites materials.
He obtained the PhD in Electronic Engineering in 2009 working on a glove base system equipped with home-made piezoresistive bend sensors at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.
From 2009 to 2012 he is a R&D Engineer and Technology Scouting for Erg Spa.
Starting from February 2012, he is a senior consultant for Altran Italy and he is working as Project Manager for Delta Ti Consortium with the purpose to develop innovative thermoelectric systems able to convert waste heat into usable electrical output or viceversa. He is co-inventor of 4 patents and co-author of more than 10 publications on international papers.
