Dr. Ralph Nonninger has over 20 years experience in the field of nanotechnology. He always worked in a leading position.
In the nineties, Dr. Nonninger worked at the Leibniz Institute for New Materials. As Division leader he was involved in nearly 100 industrial projects.
In October 2000 Dr. Nonninger founded the ItN Nanovation AG, in 2006 the ITN goes public. During his time as Management Board of ItN Nanovation AG, Dr. Nonninger brought with more than 100 employees more than 30 products to market. Dr. Nonninger has raised more than € 35 million equity capital for the setting of the ITN.
After 10 years successful work Dr. Nonninger has left the ItN Nanovation AG and now he manages the cc-NanoBioNet e.V. With about 80 Members the cc-NanoBioNet e.V. is the largest nanotechnology network in Germany.
Further more Dr. Nonninger is since 2011 president of The German Nanotechnology Association.
The German Nanotechnology Association was established to give a home and a voice to the people operating in the nanotechnology field. We want to bridge existing gaps and give individuals and SMEs a voice in the ministerial committees and authorities that advice on nanotechnology, its uses, risks and funding.
Dr. Nonninger is one of the pioneers in the field nanotechnology and is involved in over 200 patent applications and author respectively co-author of many publications.
