Claudio Evangelisti is a research scientist at ISTM-CNR in Milan (http://labcat.istm.cnr.it).
His research activities concern a) the synthesis of supported mono- and heterometallic nanoparticles, featuring strictly controlled dimension and composition and their use in chemo- and regio-selective transformation of fine chemicals; b) characterization of nanostructured metal systems by Electron Microscopy characterization techniques. He is author of about 40 papers on international peer-reviewed journals, 3 international patents, 4 book chapters and more than 50 communications at national and international symposia. He is currently referee of ISI international journals in the fields of catalysis and inorganic chemistry (Journal of Catalysis, ACS Catalysis, Langmuir, Inorganica Chimica Acta, Catalysis Letters, Applied Catalysis A: General, Journal of Molecular Catalysis,…). He is involved actively in numerous national and international founded projects. Actually, he is a principal investigator of the MIUR project (FIRB 2010 “Futuro in ricerca”), “Multifunctional hybrid materials for the development of eco-sustainable catalytic processes”.
