Vitomir Racic is Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He works at the interface of engineering, social sciences and biomechanics of human locomotion on a range of phenomena including experimental identification and mathematical modelling of human-induced dynamic loads (e.g. ground reaction forces due to walking, jumping and running), human-structure dynamic interaction and vibration serviceability assessment of civil engineering structures.
