Alessandro Belardini was born in Rome, Italy, in 1972. He received the degree in Electronic Engineering in 2001 at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and the Ph.D. degree in Physics at the University of Roma Tre in 2005.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and is working on characterization of self-assembled plasmonic metasurfaces. In particular, he characterizes the chiral properties and the morphological properties of metallic nanostructures by using the second harmonic generation signal. He is co-author of over 60 technical and scientific papers published in physics oriented International Journals.
