Matthias Auf der Maur received the Dipl. El.-Ing. degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich in 2003 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in 2008. He currently is a researcher with the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". His research interests are in simulation of electronic transport and optical properties of semiconductor devices, LEDs and solar cells in particular, and the implementation and application of multiscale/multiphysics simulation models.
