Nanomedicine in Europe

The application of nanotechnologies to medical applications, abbreviated as Nanomedicine, provides technical solutions for the paradigm shift in medicine as there are personalized, preventive, regenerative and tele medicine. Although there are several products on the market the translation rate of the huge investment of more than 500 Mio Euros for R&D projects in FP7 is insufficient. The presentation will describe topics, structures and concepts aiming at improving the development and translation of nanomedicine in Europe.
