Liliia Pylypchyk received her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2012 and later, in June 2013, her Master’s degree with Honors in the same field at the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Ukraine). After graduation she conducted the research at Civil Engineering Department of the University of Pavia (Italy). Her activity was dedicated to the topology optimization of dynamic structures. Since April 2015 she has been collaborating as research fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy). In her research activity she is studying micro- and nano-structured materials for shock attenuation in sport helmets.
