Genni Testa received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in solid state physics from the University of Naples, Naples, Italy, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Second University of Naples, Naples, in 2008. She is a researcher at the Istituto per il Rilevamento Elettromagnetico dell’Ambiente, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (IREA-CNR) Naples. Her research activities deal with the design, fabrication and characterization of optofluidic devices based on Silicon and hybrid polymer-Silicon materials for biosensing and environmental application. She is author of more than 20 international journal papers and acts as a reviewer of several international journals. She is the IREA leader unit of FIRB project titled: Ultra-Sensitive Flow-Through Optofluidic MicroResonators for Biosensing Application.
