Curriculum Vitae

Cédric Chauvierre (40 years old) obtained his Master degree in Physico-Chemistry from Ecole Centrale Paris in 1999, a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University Paris XI in 2003 then his accreditation to supervise research in Sciences from University Paris 13 in 2014.

After 2 years in a start-up as Scientific Manager, Cédric Chauvierre became Researcher at INSERM and joined the Unit 698/1148 in 2011. He has published 22 papers on polymer nanoparticles, blood substitute and medical imaging and hold 3 patents (h-index: 14).

He was laureate of several prices: Valorization from University Paris XI (2002), Young Investigator from APGI-AVENTIS and Aguirre Basualdo from Chancery of Paris Universities (2004), Thesis from National Academy of Pharmacy and Emergence from OSEO (2005), Espace Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Art & Science award (2013).

He has given more than 15 invited lectures including plenary. Awarded research funding comprises several European and national contracts. He his coordinating two national projects, ANR Emergence (MicroSound) and ANR Labcom (FucoChem) for 500 k€. He his also the Work Package leader of the European FP7 large scale project, NanoAthero, with 16 countries and coordinated by D. Letourneur with a budget of 10 M€.

He is member of several juries (ANSM, ANR).
